Happy Friday y'all! I got some more Toy Story updates coming your way!

As soon as I wrote my blog post last week, Tim Allen talked about Toy Story 5 and his time with Toy Story on a few other appearances.

First, he was on Howie Mandel's podcast, "Howie Mandel Does Stuff". He chatted about working with Tom Hanks, ad libbing as Buzz, a little of Toy Story 5, and his overall experience:

Next, Tim appeared on Entertainment Tonight and chatted about his friendship with Tom Hanks and what to expect for Toy Story 5. He does say something a little different here!

"It's a lot of Jessie is having a struggle, it's so beautiful. A DHL/UPS plane crashes with a hundred Buzz dolls that all wake up at the same time. The B story is so frickin funny because there's a hundred of me, that I think are a little smaller than the real one, and the relationships with each other are so horrendously funny so far."

Next, in promoting his new film, "Sketch", Tony Hale briefly talked about his experience with Toy Story in this article:

Demet: With Toy Story 5 around the corner exploring the usage of technology, which some would say is taking away from creative minds like Amber, I thought I would ask what we could expect from that film with its themes and perhaps your character.

Tony Hale: Your guess is as good as mine. When I recorded it, they give you pages, so you don't see the whole script. And I'm saying, "What's going on?" The whole concept of toy versus tech is so needed right now, especially with where the world is. Pixar is a master of putting out amazing movies that are very deep, so I'm really interested to see how they deal with that.

When I did the first Toy Story, I didn't really believe I was going to be in it until I heard my voice in the trailer. I thought they were going to replace me. I'm just as excited to see this one as anybody else.

The celebrations for Toy Story's 30th anniversary are going strong!

To start off, The Mirror has an article with interviews from Pixar's Top Production Designer, Bob Pauly, Senior Historian, Christine Freeman, and John Morris who voiced Andy. The article talks about their time creating the first Toy Story film and how excited they are for the audience to see what they have done with Toy Story 5.

Next up, for you fans down under, there will be a pop-up Toy Story 30th Anniversary celebration coming for you! This event is titled "Toy Story 30 Years & Beyond Exhibition".

In collaboration with curator Eddie Zammit, thirty artists from around the world have created thirty pieces reimaging the iconic characters from the franchise. In addition to the character prints, a rich collection of products and memorabilia spanning the past 30 years will be displayed alongside an impactful Buzz Lightyear inspired sculpture, created by local Melbourne artist Travis Price.
